To everyone who contributed to Deadlifts for Dreams this year, I want to send a huge thank you. Not only did we manage to fundraise enough to make Maya's dream come true, we doubled up and have enough to help another child who will benefit from a dream come true.

This year marked the first annual September Dragon Boat Festival hosted by The Dream Factory and the Manitoba Paddling Association. It was a roaring success. As hundreds of people, from all walks of life, descended upon the river bed, teams of paddlers took to the “sea” in support of making dreams come true.
