March was a big month here at The Dream Factory! Dreams came true (of course!), Dream Maker Auction prep is well underway, and our Spring edition of ‘The Dreamer’ is out now! Read on for the full scoop!
Patrick’s Dream Come True
Patrick has always had lung and breathing issues. But in the fall he went in for some allergy and breathing tests when he applied for the military. When the testing was finished, doctors discovered that Patrick had the lung capacity of an 80-year-old man. None of his family expected to hear this kind of news.
Patrick's asthma got quite bad after being exposed to forest fire smoke while working at a fishing lodge. At his doctor appointment, they explained that with an already poor perception of breathing quality, you wouldn't necessarily notice it getting worse. He’s had asthma from a young age.
Because of these results, Patrick’s doctors fast-tracked everything, and that led him and his family back to The Dream Factory. There are six kids in his family, and he has a brother and sister who are both Dream Kids, so they already knew what to expect.
Patrick dreamed of having fishing gear for all types of fishing - open-water, ice, and fly fishing - and this March, our friends at The Fishin’ Hole helped make his Dream a reality! These magical moments are only possible because of the wonderful support from people like you in our Dream Community! Thank you for helping make Patrick’s Dream a reality!

The Dream Maker Auction Presented by Gauthier Automotive Group is BACK - and preparation is well underway!
We are thrilled to return to the RBC Convention Centre on April 29th - and we would love to see you there! There is still an opportunity to get in on the fun as a sponsor, with an individual ticket, by taking in the virtual show, by helping out as a volunteer, or by purchasing a 50/50 ticket online! Because of YOU our virtual auction in 2020 raised over $200,000 to support our Dream Families and make more dreams come true for kids in our community battling life-threatening illnesses. We can’t wait to welcome you back, both in-person and online, on April 29th to help make even more Dreams come true for sick kids in Manitoba.

Dream Kid’s celebrated the birthday of our incredible Dream Factory Ambassador, Josh Morrissey!
We are so lucky to have Josh as an important part of our Dream Factory family, and can't thank him enough for always going above and beyond for our Dream Kids. The impact he’s had on our Dream Kids and their families is incredible. Ava, Clara, Cody, Connor, Liam, Lucas, Trevor, and Troy had a wonderful time cheering him on during his birthday weekend thanks to our friends Quintex Services!

We are so grateful to our friends at BSI Insurance + Young Broker Network of Manitoba for dedicating a night of bowling fun to Dream Kids here in Manitoba 💙 These wonderful folks hosted the great night of bowling + raised funds for our Dream Kids at Uptown Alley!
