Jasmine wrote us to let us know what’s going on in her life since her Dream Came True last year!
Hey Dream Family! It’s Jasmine, a fellow Dream Kid, here to talk about the adventure that my family and I embarked on a year ago. Last year in August, I was granted my Dream of visiting Quebec. My Dream was originally to travel to Paris, but unfortunately the pandemic and the current events of the world made it hard for that Dream to be fulfilled in the near future.
After coming to terms with that, my mom had approached me with the idea of visiting Quebec. It was supposedly very similar to Europe but much closer geographically. I can now confirm that although I have never been to Europe, it was very similar to what you see in the pictures. Needless to say, it was an amazing trip and remembering it makes me want to go again!

Now, I was asked to discuss what we’ve been up to since then and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. August of last year is when my family and I decided to move to Alberta to fulfill my dad’s Dream of doing harness racing professionally. We put our house up for sale and it was quickly sold. We then moved to a farm that we rented and were there for about 8 months. We bought a farm and moved again to Central Alberta in the Spring of 2022. Basically, we moved twice in one year and we have found the house that we intend on growing in for as long as we choose to.
I have met so many amazing people along the way who have taught me so much. Above all, I’ve learned so much about myself. We have also met with the new group of doctors who will be taking on the job of making sure I am healthy and can fulfill future Dreams! I know that I am in good hands here with these doctors and with this wonderful hospital.
