April 2021: A Dream Drive, A Radio Takeover, and 6 Special Dreams Come True!
The Dream Drive Raises $240,000 to make more dreams come true!
Welcome to a special Dream Drive edition of our monthly blog! On April 15th, we launched The Dream Drive, a two week campaign with one goal in mind: to raise $100,000 and help make 6 dreams come true.
Over the course of that two weeks, we were astonished by the generosity of our Dream Factory community - our long-time sponsors and donors, our friends out in the community, and many of the folks who helped make dreams come true for the very first time.
Today, because of the true generosity of our incredible Dream Community, we're excited to share that we've raised just over $240,000 - enough to ensure that 16 more dreams WILL come true!

Thank You To The Winnipeg Kinsmen - $100,000 Donation to Make 6 More Dreams Come True!
This was a truly remarkable way to end our Dream Drive! During our Dream Drive LIVE event on April 29th, our friend Tim McKay, VP of Services with the Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg announced that the Winnipeg Kinsmen were donating $100,000 to The Dream Drive to help us match our original goal and ensure that an additional 6 special dreams WILL come true!
The Winnipeg Kinsmen have been incredible long-time friends of The Dream Factory, and we are once again so truly grateful for their support of our community. Thank you for making even more dreams come true!
Introducing TDF Sports! Dream Kid Drea Interviews Josh Morrissey
We loved this segment from our Dream Drive LIVE virtual event so much, we had to share it with you here! Dream Kid (and future sportscaster!) Drea took the lead on the sports beat and hosted an incredible interview with Dream Factory Ambassador Josh Morrissey of the Winnipeg Jets.

Dream Kids On Air? 103.1 Virgin Radio Takeover!
In case you missed it: On April 28th, Dream Kids TOOK OVER the airwaves over at 103.1 Virgin Radio. It was a truly magical day full of hilarious conversations, heartfelt moments, and a reminder of the true impact that a dream come true can have! Throughout the day, Dream Kids Jaxx, Drea, Teagan, Karmyn, and Lily each hosted their very own shows on the radio - and we had a number of special guests throughout the day including volunteers, Dream Parents, and even a few more Dream Kids!
Our thanks go out to the wonderful team at 103.1 Virgin Radio for making this day so special! Check out the video for a few heartwarming moments from the day.
