40 Years of Dreams!

We celebrated our birthday in style with Dream Kids and folks from our Dream Community!

Last month, we invited Dream Kids and their families, along with Dream Community members to join us at Inn at the Forks to celebrate our birthday the only way we know how: with ice cream for breakfast! With stunning balloon arrangements (including a giant balloon ice cream cone) and a light-up dance floor, the day was set for maximum fun!

Guests entered the party zone and were welcomed by a giant 40th Birthday photo op - the perfect way to mark the occasion. Dreamland Diner brought the frozen treats of all flavours, and cupcakes and cookies were served as well. Once our guests hit their sugar rush, it was time to hit the dancefloor with The Wackydoodle Dance Party for Kids! Dream Kids and honoured guests wore glowstick necklaces and tore down the house with their spunky dance moves. We even had a singalong moment with Elsa from Frozen when “Let It Go” came over the speakers.

Heather’s Pretty Parties was on deck for face painting while Barbie, Spiderman, Princess Peach, and a crew of other princesses and characters hung out and hit the dance floor with the Dream Kids. When the kids were tuckered out from the dance floor, they were awe-stricken by the amazing close-up magic of the amazing Evan Morgan! Even Princess Peach couldn’t believe her eyes.

At the party, we watched Dream Kids connect and become friends while enjoying the party scene with their families. Dream Kids Dante and James were fast friends, as they were both dressed up in their Halloween costumes: Dante a fireman and James a ninja.

Every kid who joined us to celebrate our 40th birthday didn’t leave without taking home a birthday present courtesy of Crescent Financial (not to mention extra cake, cookies, and snacks)! It was a fabulous day and we were so blessed to have been able to party with our Dream Community!
