A Space for Sick Kids to Dream to Their Hearts’ Content
Three Pines Organizing is teaming up with The Dream Factory to create a comfortable space for kids to Dream. Whether their Dream is a trip to Disney World, to meet a celebrity, or a backyard playset, these kids deserve to Dream BIG!
The Project
The Dream Factory staff is a small team, located in downtown Winnipeg, where they work every day to make the impossible become possible. When kids and their families are welcomed in, they are meant to feel inspired, delighted, and a world away from their illnesses. Not only does the staff work tirelessly to make Dreams come true, they are also intent on creating a community for families who struggle to find a normal routine. The Dream Factory allows children and families to stay connected throughout their illness.

For children who are battling life-threatening illnesses, trips to the doctor’s office and hospitals are part of their routines. “For these kids, those spaces mean scary news, needle pricks, operations, and the like. We are so excited to create a space that takes Dream Kids away from all the stress of their medical journey and helps them look forward to their Dream!” says Sara Verwymeren, Professional Organizer and owner of Three Pines Organizing. The Three Pines team works in homes and businesses around Manitoba to create simple, functional, and inviting spaces.
With the help of Three Pines, The Dream Factory hopes to have a place for kids to feel like… well, kids!
