Instead of a traditional festival, we will bring together (at a distance!) a small number of Dragon Boat teams between August 10th - August 28th. Come out with your team of ten (10) for two separate Dragon Boat sessions. 

The Dream Factory is proud to partner with the Manitoba Paddling Association to host a Provincially Approved Dragon Boat UNFestival, beginning on Monday, August 10th, 2020. Dragon boating is one of Winnipeg's most loved summer events and we are excited we will be able to safely hold a smaller event this summer!

Get your team of 10 friends, family, and/or co-workers together and get ready to have fun on the water while supporting a great cause! Whether you are a long-time dragon boater or have never paddled before - this event is a great way to have fun and help make dreams come true for some very special kids. Teams will be guaranteed two (2) separate paddling sessions between August 10th and August 28th.

Safety is a top priority. Boats, paddles and personal flotation devices will be provided and cleaned between uses. Instruction and race supervision will be provided by the Manitoba Paddling Association. The event is approved under provincial guidelines. 

The UNFestival is a fundraiser for The Dream Factory, a Winnipeg based charitable organization dedicated to fulfilling dreams for Manitoba kids who are battling life-threatening illnesses. We hope that each team raise a minimum of $100.00. 

The funds you raise will go directly to making dreams come true for kids who desperately need a break from hospitals, medical treatments and other challenges they will face on their journey. All funds raised stay in Manitoba.
