Olivia is like most girls her age – she loves Bluey, hide-and-seek, colouring, dolls, and bunny mac-and-cheese!

She has two older brothers and is one of the sweetest 4-year-olds you will ever meet!

But Olivia has been through a lot more than most kids her age.

Olivia's Story

In October 2022, Olivia came down with a cold and an ear infection that would not clear up. After some bloodwork she was sent to Children’s Hospital where the worst was confirmed – Olivia had Stage 4 Cancer.

Things moved quickly after her diagnosis. Rigorous chemotherapy began immediately to treat the cancer that had spread throughout her whole body and continued for the next 10 months. Olivia underwent 2 bone marrow transplants and had to spend some time in Toronto at Sick Kids Hospital.

It was a long journey for Olivia and her family, but Olivia stayed her positive, happy self throughout. And it was on this journey that they were introduced to The Dream Factory.

Olivia’s family was told about The Dream Factory by another Dream Parent. The Dream Factory quickly became a bright spot and something for Olivia and her family to look forward to during tough times.

And now, 15 months later, Olivia is finishing her immunotherapy. Olivia fought an incredibly tough battle. She has been cancer-free since October 2023 and is ready for her dream to come true!

Olivia's Dream Came True!

Olivia loves making sandcastles at the beach, sea turtles, and mermaids - so it only made sense that her dream was to jet to Hawaii for Mermaid School!

Olivia and her family visited Hawaii for a fun, sunny Dream Trip. When she donned her mermaid's tail and hopped in the water, she was a natural - she truly showed everyone how magical the power of dreaming is.
