The NEW Dream Factory
We are building a real-life Dream Factory - a safe, comfortable, and purpose-built space designed to create unforgettable experiences for Manitoba kids.
That’s right, after 2- years, The Dream Factory will move to a new home in Winnipeg! We are so excited to share this news = the NEW Dream Factory will be a welcoming community space for Dream Kids and their families to visit throughout their medical journey and beyond. Families will be welcome to stop by for a visit anytime they need: before or after medical appointments, on days where their medical journey feels particularly difficult, or on days where they have something to celebrate!
Our new Dream Factory will be a central place outside of the hospital environment where kids can feel safe and comfortable to dream BIG! We are working with a world-class team of experts to develop an interactive, child-centric space that prioritizes FUN first.
Why we are moving:
To create a welcoming community space for Dream Kids and their families to visit throughout their medical journey and beyond.
To manufacture meaningful memories and experiences that will outshine the daily difficulties of their illness.
To be a central place outside of the hospital environment where kids can feel safe and comfortable to dream BIG!
The new Dream Factory will enable us to become an even stronger, community-based resource for families with children facing life-threatening illnesses. It will help connect them to a community of support, anchored by this welcoming space, that will be like nothing else that exists in Manitoba.
As our current timeline stands, we aim to move into the new space this fall, with a grand opening in early 2025 - so stay tuned! We can’t wait to keep you updated with more information about the NEW Dream Factory!
