For 5 year old Drea, nothing beats cotton candy and ice cream. It’s become a special treat that represents a small one of fun during her battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer.
When the Bridge Drive In heard Drea’s story, they knew they wanted to help and developed a signature cone to help bring her dream to life - the Cloud Nine. Vanilla ice cream dipped in cotton candy syrup, wrapped in a cloud of cotton candy and topped with sprinkles - of course.

Nathan’s Dream Come True
May was the month that 6 year old Nathan’s dream came true! Nathan and his family enjoyed a week of fun in the sun in Turks + Caicos! Here’s what Nathan’s dad had to say about the experience:
“Most of our time here has been spent at the beach and in the pool. Since Nate has discovered the swim up bar, it is hard to get him out of there. We took a glass bottom boat ride and saw some stingrays and a lot of tropical fish. He even tried snorkelling. One of the highlights for him was the fishing excursion we took. Nate caught grouper, trigger fish and a bunch of other species.”

Dragon Boating is Back!
Paddles up Winnipeg! Dragon Boating is back! June 7-9th mark our first outing of the year as the River City Dragon Boat Festival and the Manitoba School Dragon Boat Challenge get underway.
If you are interested in bringing together some friends to grab a paddle in support of more dreams come true - there’s still an opportunity! The September Dragon Boat Challenge is September 6th and 7th and a wonderful opportunity for teams of 10 to have a whole bunch of dragon boat fun.

Dream Maker Auction - An Extraordinary Night!
The 25th Anniversary of our flagship event - the Dream Maker Auction - was a tremendous success. From all of us here at The Dream Factory, our Dream Kids and their families, THANK YOU to our incredible sponsors, donors, and volunteers for making dreams come true. Because of your generosity, a record breaking $668,309 was raised to bring dreams to life for some of Manitoba’s bravest kids.
Together, we celebrated the importance of happy childhood memories, special family moments, and the positive impact dreams have on the lives of those who need them most. Thank you Dream Makers for your kindness and dedication to making dreams come true.
